The parking lots are managed by private companies and cost varies depending on which lot you choose. Self-service, all-day parking usually costs $10. Additional all-day parking lots also are located near Union Station. There is free on-street metered parking in Lower Downtown on Sundays Only.
Light RailRTD's C- and E- lines serve Union Station. With increasing parking limitations, this can be a convenient way to arrive at Union Station. For more information, contact RTD at 303.299-6000 or visit rtd-denver.com online.
Lift TicketsIf you are planning to ski or snowboard, you can save by purchasing lift tickets through the Ski Train. If you purchase your ticket through our reservation center, you receive the best savings. Lift tickets are also available aboard the train, and you can still save from the price you would pay at Winter Park.
RemindersTicketed passengers arriving at Union Station may proceed directly through the underground walkway and onto the train. There is no need to check in at the ticket desk. Car and reserved seat numbers are printed on every ticket. Ski racks are located in every car, and our friendly car hosts are happy to assist you. We recommend you label your equipment, as many skis look alike, especially rentals. Ski bags are recommended, however, not required. Due to storage limitations, no large carry-on coolers, please. For your comfort and convenience, all cars on the Ski Train are non-smoking.
If you will require boarding assistance, please contact our reservation center in advance to make arrangements. When planning your Ski Train trip, please keep in mind that the Winter Park base is at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Passengers should be in good health. To fully participate, passengers must be able to climb a few steps, and walk on even and uneven terrain. The weather can change rapidly in the mountains, so be sure to prepare and dress accordingly.
Food and refreshments are sold in our cafe/lounge cars and snack bars throughout the train. Beer and wine may be purchased on the return trip. Colorado state liquor laws prohibit passengers from consuming liquor not purchased on board.
The Ski Train does not stay at Winter Park Resort during the day. You may leave personal belongings on board the train, but you won't have access to the train. The train is secure, however, you may not be the first passenger back on the train and we are not responsible for personal items. Please take all valuables and items you may need during the day with you.
